Sons of Medusa - Progress

I have finally finished painting the last few Tacticals for my Sons. It's been a long time coming and I'm so glad to have a core of troops. It's really been a labor getting them done. Future additions will be thrown in the mix for wargear variation but for now, I'm happy. To show my happiness I've taken an army progress shot on the ol' cellphone.

I am really proud of what I've done so far with this project. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel finally, and I really look forward to seeing the project finished. Only 2 Desert Marines, a Dread, and 5 Termies to go before I can play a Painted 1500 force.

The last Marine finished you can see in the above to the left with the first Marine from the army just behind him. The sergeant is a piece I haven't taken photos of yet either and still need to get better pictures of. He was a fun piece both to build and to paint, with bionics in both his face and arm. I hope to do a full army profile in the future that will take up space all around the web.

Stay tuned for some more progress.

  2. The list ends up being:

    MoTF w/Servo Harness

    Ven Dread

    Dread w/Las&Missle

    Sternguard (5) w/2xHB's and 1 CombiMelta

    Terminator Assault Squad (5)

    Tactical (10) w/MM and Meltagun

    Tactical (10) w/MM and Meltagun w/Razorback

    Land Raider

That brings me to around 1500 with upgrades

  3. I hadn't realized the desert marines were Sternguard, I'd been thinking they were a 5 man Dev. squad this whole time.

  4. this is an awesome sight on the board, they are really striking! I copied that weathering technique you've used there on a space marine captain I painted for a competition!

Bj, here is the tutorial for my battle damage technique. Nothing special, but the look is great for the time invested ^_^.
