Sons of Medusa Dreadnought

He's done! I'm happy with how he came out. A bit more weathered than Perseus, but right on par with other armor in the army, he fits in nicely. Not sure what point value having him finished puts me at, but I am looking forward to fielding this army again more and more.

  1. Whoa! You're really cranking through these guys. The weathering looks very good. I have two warjack's I'm getting ready to paint and I'm going to try your sponge weathering technique again.

  2. Sick! You did him justice to match up with his big brother. Well done bro!

    Loving the chipped paintwork effect.

  4. Thanks guys. I'm really happy with him. The only thing that might change is that his wing freehand might be worked out a bit more and elaborated some.

Simon, you should totally try it out again! Just be sure to test the pattern on a piece of paper first! Light touches of the sponge and never dab too heavy, you don't want a huge splotch on your model!
